Lesson 3:
What else does Isporta do?

After School Clubs

We are privileged to work with a large number of local infant, junior and senior schools to enhance their already extensive after-school activity programmes. After-school clubs are more popular and in some cases necessary than ever before, which is where we come in…

By offering a diverse and fresh approach to sports coaching and topics, we can deliver a sports programme to all Key Stage classes in order to advance their learning, improve their skills, build their self-confidence and allow the children to spend extra time with their friends. All this takes place in the familiar and safe environment of their school! Genius! Oh and at the same time offers busy parents an affordable solution to extra-curricular activities.

All our clubs are run in conjunction with the relevant schools, covering chosen topics in accordance with curriculum choices. Each club runs per half term and can change topic each time, providing variety and maintaining interest. We cater for ALL sporting abilities and actively encourage children to take part and have FUN!!

Calling all schools: Please contact us if you would like to benefit from our sports services. We can provide a tailor-made coaching programme to suit your specific requirements and REMEMBER, we also provide our own equipment, keeping our clubs autonomous from your school and minimising costs for you!

Calling all parents: Please get in touch with us to see if your child‛s school & class is running one of our clubs and book your place!

“In School” sports Assistance:

We recognize the importance of Planning, Preparation & Assessment Time (PPA) and offer a fully supported service to enable staff the free time required for additional tasks, whilst still maintaining the governing directive on Physical Education for Children.

We can provide fully qualified Sports Coaches to cover absent PE teachers through illness, maternity leave, long-term absence or to enable your pupils to enjoy “additional” sports activities for which the normal curriculum does not allow time.

Our dedication to your specific requirements is paramount, cost is key and results speak for themselves – these simple steps put us ahead of our competitors – PLEASE give us a call to discuss your sporting needs!

In the Community

Living and operating in our community is important to Isporta, which is why we strongly believe and actively participate in “GIVING BACK”. Our philosophy is centered on giving, NOT earning, which is why our coaches give some of their own time to promote the benefits of physical activity. All abilities, all ages, all youngsters should be able to have the opportunity to play sport – regardless of their circumstances!!

We are currently involved in the following community sporting projects/clubs:

Balcarras Sports Centre: Working with Sara Roylance (Sports Co-Ordinator), we have been running the Girl‛s Football Club for the last 3 years, junior hockey club for the last 12-months (including primary schools – Leckhampton, Naunton Park, Charlton Kings Juniors) and we oversee their annual Primary School Sports Festival!!

Young Leaders

This is an exciting opportunity for all young sports leaders who have chosen Sport Science & Young Leader awards. We give them the opportunity to gain experience from “on the ball” coaching alongside our own professional staff. Learn (a lot…) and earn (a bit…), while gaining the experience of coaching with all its ups and downs (mostly due to rain!).

Gloucestershire University also place their Sports Students with us to cover required “work experience” hours.

Working for us

We are always on the look out for energetic, positive and qualified coaches to join our team. Please get in touch with us if you think this could be you!
